When I went deaf a symphony started playing in my mind. Warm, beautiful and poignant. String instruments first, then the choir, then the soprano, tenor and baritone, like I’m in the middle of the Opera House. Your other sensors become more acute, when you loose one, and that’s when I painted this series. This one last to drag me back into the light.
